Welcome to our website.
Is located in the Old Rectory House, our private family home dating back to 1490.
It provides guests with a wonderfully unique, uncommercialised and eclectic setting where they can truly relax and enjoy the company of family, friends and colleagues.
WE LOVE ALL THINGS ORGANIC
The Old Rectory house, garden and window boxes
We grow large amounts of gooseberrys, redcurrants and blackcurrants which we use to make delicious homemade jams. We also grow our own potatoes, leeks, carrots, beetroot, onions, red and white cabbages, various courgettes, sweet corn, salads and more. All are grown without the use of any artificial fertilizers or pesticides and when available and in season, are served in the Tearoom.
THE OLD RECTORY KITCHEN - HOME BAKING
Our cakes, scones, quiches, tortillas and tarts are all homemade using freshly laid eggs, courtesy of our seven pet chickens. We use organic Sharpham Park flour and organic Duchy milk in the Tearoom.
WE PROVIDE A TRULY TRADITIONAL AND AUTHENTIC "ENGLISH TEA TIME" EXPERIENCE
Our Welsh dresser cupboards are overflowing with beautiful English china collected over many years and we have a fabulous collection of Victorian teapots, sugar bowls, milk jugs, teacups, cake plates and tiers, all used to create a truly authentic English Tea Time experience for our guests.
