Our Tearoom is ideal if you're in search of somewhere unique and 'out of the ordinary'. It is the perfect spot to hold a private party with family and friends whilst enjoying good old fashioned home baking and freshly prepared food.
The Tearoom is located on the ground floor of The Old Rectory House, (once, The Old Parsonage) which dates back to 1490 and is now a private family home and Tearoom. We are located on the main street in the centre of the village and we offer a wonderfully uncommercialised and eclectic setting for you to enjoy whilst visiting Castle Combe.
We serve breakfast pancakes and crepes, a light lunch of the day, a two course lunch, a full afternoon high tea, traditional English cream tea together with a wonderful selection of homebaked cakes, quiches, tortillas and more. Please take a look at our Menu page before contacting us to make a reservation.
PRIVATE PARTIES FOR 10 OR MORE GUESTS
When reserving for a party of ten or more guests, the Tearoom will be yours to enjoy exclusively for a period of two hours at no extra cost. If you wish to remain here for longer than two hours or if you would like a private party for less than 10 guests, this can be arranged at an extra charge.
When visiting the Tearoom as a tour group, I, (Anna), will be able to spend some time with you, telling you all about the history of the house, the tearoom and the village itself. Guests can then ask any questions they wish to and be given an insight into modern day village life and what it is like to live in and be a villager in Castle Combe today.
